With breathtaking views of Mountains, including a place called Garden of the Gods, some areas of this city seem almost magical. The climate is mild, dry, and not humid, so that makes for cooler summers and warmer winters. There are even more sunny days here in Colorado than in Florida!



On a personal note, we have been dressed in shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of winter in this area (60 degrees or better). Most people perceive Colorado as having lots of snow and poor weather in the winter, and although this may be true a few days every year, that is not consistent with a majority of the days in Colorado Springs.
